Outdated Cylinders

Is your cylinder outdated or past its expiration date? We can recertify your old cylinders for you! Don’t leave an old propane cylinder hanging around your property. You can recycle it or recertify it and have it refilled at Baygas Propane. All portable DOT cylinders have a date of manufacture which should be located on the collar. Unless otherwise indicated, if your cylinder is more than 12 years old, it must be visually inspected and re-qualified before it can be filled with propane again. Bring your outdated cylinder to one of our four locations, where we can quickly determine if your tank is out of date and eligible for re-qualification. If so, we follow the necessary protocol to visually inspect the tank, check for leaks, and properly label the tank so that we can refill it with propane.

On-Site Filling

Tired of not getting all the propane fuel you pay for when you get your cylinders filled at other locations? Your local grocer or corner convenience store might exchange 20 lb. grill cylinders fast and easily, but typically, they do not fill them to capacity. Most propane exchanges only fill their cylinders 15 to 17 lbs. worth of propane, short-changing you of your hard-earned dollars. Whether you’re exchanging a 20 lb. cylinder or filling a forklift bottle, motor home or motor fuel cylinder of any size, rest assured that Baygas will fill your tank to maximum capacity.
